Eric the Red is mobile robotic platform designed around a TRC Labmate base. Eric has a ring of 24 ultrasonic sensors and a lower ring of eight infrared detectors. Eric also has a bar for mounting cameras and other sensors. The brains are supplied by a Sun SparcStation via two serial links.
